Herniated Disk

This is a common problem but how does this little disk cause all this pain? The answer to that question lies inside the disk itself. In the middle of the disk there is a nucleus pulpous that has a jelly like consistency . When a disk herniated this jellylike material oozes to touch sensitive structures that cause an inflammatory reaction this is what causes pain.
